Nguyen Thi Quy Phuong earned her Ph.D degree in Information and Communication Sciences at Panthéon-Assas University, France in 2010. From 2007, Nguyen Thi Quy Phuong and Professor Dao Nguyen Cat founded The Magazine of Elites’ life, the magazine of Vietnam Economic Times - where she served as the Managing Editor. She is a researcher - author of many scientific articles on Communication and Globalization when she held the responsibility of Deputy Director of the Vietnam Institute for Journalism and Communication Studies at the age of 32.

During her political career, Nguyen Thi Quy Phuong was elected as the Member of the Executive Committee of the Party Committee of the Centrally Offices, Head Secretary of Youth Union of the Centrally Offices and Ministries (with 125,000 union members, 56 unions of Ministries, Branches, Party, State, National Assembly and the Government) and the former Standing Member of Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (holding more than 4 million members and is the largest youth union organization in Vietnam).

From 2016 to January 2021, she served as the President of VinTalent (Development Fund for Vietnam Talents) of Vingroup Corporation along with the Chief Executive Officer position of Promotion Fund of Vietnamese Football Talents (PVF), Chief Executive Officer position of Vincom Contemporary Center of Art (VCCA). She also served as the Head of Environmental Protection Department of Vingroup Corporation.

From 2018 to 2020, she held the position of Chief Executive Officer of Vietnamese Motorsport Association, LLC (member of the Federation Internationale de l’ Automobile, FIA); member of the FIA’s Statutes Review Commission. She was also elected as the Managing Vice President of Vietnam Motorsport Association on its Establishment Congress in January 2020.

She was the first and the only Secretary General of the VinFuture Foundation who created the concept of the VinFuture Prize, established the Prize Council in December 2020 and represented the Foundation’s Founders until the end of December 2022.

She is now the scientific consultant of Ministries, Corporations, Associations and influential media channels. Her vision “Making Vietnam the new world’s kitchen” has been considered by the Minister of Agriculture as an important strategy for the development of Vietnamese economy based on the local wisdom.
